Katie Beckett Program

Katie Beckett Program (KBP) – Tennessee’s Katie Beckett Program was launched in 2021 and is focused on our Pediatric community, age 18 or younger, with disabilities and/or complex medical needs who qualify for the Medicaid Waiver. Eventa works cohesively with TennCare and Blue Cross Blue Sheild of Tennessee to assist Group A members in the program identified with compromised respiratory needs.

The pediatric population in the Katie Beckett Program, the majority being fragile and respiratory compromised, require support for the member and the caregivers.

We have been able to work closely with the families, medical support teams, DME’s and the payer to reduce hospital readmissions and ER utilization as the census continues to grow.
